Honors the memory of Clement P. Cunningham, M.D., of Rock Island, who died on September 2, 2018.

Recognizes Dr. Cunningham's medical career, including his service on medical staffs at St. Anthony's Hospital and Franciscan Hospital (UPH-Trinity Rock Island) and his treatment of indigent patients at the Rock Island County Public Health Clinic.

Acknowledges his extensive community involvement, including leadership roles in the Rock Island County Medical Society, board service at Robert Young Mental Health Center, and active membership in the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Notes that Dr. Cunningham received papal honors from Pope John Paul II and was installed as a Knight of the Order of St. Gregory, and received the Thomas More Award from the National Council of Catholic Men.

Extends sincere condolences to Dr. Cunningham's surviving family members, including four children, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
