Mary Janette Roberts of Crystal Lake passed away on September 10, 2018, at age 97.

She was born January 3, 1921, graduated from Crystal Lake Community High School in 1938, and married Donald B. Roberts on December 15, 1945.

Worked at the National Yeast Corporation and Home State Bank of Crystal Lake for over 16 years before retirement.

Active member of First United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake and Order of the Eastern Star since 1940, serving as Worthy Matron of Nunda Chapter #293 in 1946.

Survived by three sons, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; the Illinois Senate extends condolences to her family and friends.
