Senate Resolution mourning the death of Robert Ross "Bob" Shapland Sr. of Savoy, who passed away on September 26, 2018.

Recognized Shapland's founding of Lincolnshire Realty in 1955 and his development of the Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire Fields subdivisions in the Champaign-Urbana area, including personal infrastructure design and incorporation of a golf course.

Noted his membership in the Rotary Club and American Legion Post 24, his talent as an artist, and his attendance at the inaugural all-star baseball game in Chicago in 1933.

Survived by six children, one brother, 20 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Nell, and three brothers.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to the Shapland family as an expression of sympathy from the Illinois Senate.
