Keith Jerome Irwin of Illinois City passed away on October 3, 2018, at the age of 92.

Born May 25, 1926, in New Boston to Clyde and Bernice Spickler Irwin; served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Farmed his entire life and was a pioneer in conservation agriculture; married Alita Elaine Doak on July 25, 1946, and was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years.

Member of Pine Bluff United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 1166, and charter member of the Illinois City Fur, Fin and Feather Conservation Club.

Survived by three children, nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren; Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and friends.
