Leslie A. Schotka of East Moline passed away on October 30, 2018; he was born July 13, 1929, in Estherville, Iowa to Frank and Ethereal Palmer Schotka Sr.

Served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and married Theresa DeTaeye on February 14, 1953, in East Moline.

Retired from Case IH in 1991 after 43 years of service; was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Silvis and United Auto Workers Local 1304.

Survived by his wife Theresa, five children (Kathleen, Linda, Mary, Ann, and Martin), ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and brother Frank Schotka Jr.

Illinois Senate extends sincere condolences to Leslie Schotka's family and directs a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to his family.
