IL SR2179

Directs the Auditor General to conduct a management audit of the relationship between the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation.

Audit must examine direct and indirect support provided between the Agency and Foundation, revenues and expenditures from store and restaurant operations, and whether the Agency properly monitored its agreement with the Foundation.

Audit must determine if required monthly and annual financial reports were submitted timely and whether the Foundation received any other state moneys from other agencies.

Audit shall cover the past three completed fiscal years of both organizations' operations.

Auditor General must report findings and recommendations to the Legislative Audit Commission, Governor, and all members of the General Assembly upon completion.
