Illinois Senate mourns the death of Rabbi Barry N. Robinson of Chicago, who passed away on September 12, 2018

Rabbi Robinson served as a computer programmer, adjunct professor at Northwestern University, and Daf Yomi teacher, known for his expertise in Torah and Talmud and ability to inspire students despite health challenges

Rabbi Robinson was characterized as a caring mentor and friend who brought warmth, humor, and generosity to his teaching and personal relationships

Senate extends condolences to Rabbi Robinson's surviving wife Susan, five children (Miriam, NeChamia, Aliza, Yakov, and Yehoshua), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Senate directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to Rabbi Robinson's family as an expression of sympathy
