Honors Earl J. Carter of Peoria Heights, who passed away on October 24, 2018.

Recognized his service as former Mayor of Peoria Heights, Richwoods Township Supervisor, and trustee, as well as his United States Army service.

Acknowledged his lifelong community service including membership on the G.P. Transit Board and as a charter member of the Peoria Heights Suburban Lions Club, where he fundraised for local charities.

Survived by his wife June, two children (Timothy and Elizabeth), four granddaughters, two sisters, step-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and friends and directs a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the Carter family.
