Illinois Senate mourns the death of Robert D. "Bob" Beaulieu of Palatine, who passed away on November 15, 2018.

Bob Beaulieu was born July 13, 1925, in Chicago, graduated from Waller High School in 1944, and served as a corporal in the U.S. Marines, fighting in the Battle of Iwo Jima.

After military service, he founded a real estate business that evolved into local business investments and successful timeshare development in Orlando, Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Elaine (Mistretta), five children, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members.

The Senate extends sincere condolences to the Beaulieu family and will present a suitable copy of this resolution to them.
