Michael L. "Mike" Ryon of Peoria passed away on November 20, 2018.

Ryon was born February 16, 1957, and earned a master's degree in education from Illinois State University.

Ryon worked as an educator in Peoria Public Schools for over 25 years, most recently at Peoria Alternative School.

Ryon is survived by his brothers Timothy and Tom, sister-in-law Marialice, and eight nieces and nephews.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to Ryon's family and friends and directs a copy of this resolution be presented to his family.
