Senate Resolution mourning the death of Wilbur Edwin Brooks of New Windsor, formerly of East Moline, who passed away on November 15, 2018.

Wilbur Brooks was born November 12, 1942 in Rock Island and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Worked for John Deere and drove semis for several companies before retiring from Roadway Express in Rock Island in 2000; subsequently drove school bus and performed maintenance work for Jordan Catholic School.

Survived by his son Eric Brooks, stepson John Pulford, sisters Bonnie Curry and Connie Schnoor, brother Gary Brooks, and step-grandchildren Spencer and Caroline Pulford.

Illinois Senate extends sincere condolences to Brooks' family, friends, and those who knew him, with a suitable copy of the resolution to be presented to his family.
