Harold L. Watson of Coal Valley passed away on November 16, 2018, at age 69.

Served as a highly decorated United States Army veteran during the Vietnam War, earning the Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Combat Infantry Badge.

Owned and operated Watson Excavating Inc. for 40 years and was married to Bonnie Christine for 50 years.

Survived by his wife Bonnie, three children (Shawn, Scott, and Kristi), four grandchildren, and four siblings.
