Robert E. Mueller of Silvis passed away on November 11, 2018, at age 92.

Served in the United States Navy during World War II and worked on Mississippi River barges before retiring from AT&T after 30 years of service.

Married Martha L. Hasenclever on August 1, 1945, and was a member of the Geneseo Country Club where he enjoyed golfing.

Survived by two children (Kathleen and David Mueller), four grandchildren (Andrew, Jared, Jonathan Schmidt, and Temple Miller), and two great-grandchildren (Abigail and Emily Coakley).

Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and friends, with a suitable copy of the resolution to be presented to his family.
