Fred J. Paul, a longtime public servant in Northlake, Illinois, passed away on January 18, 2018.

Served 46 years in various civic positions including five terms on the Police and Fire Commission, 22 years as Alderman, and 21 years as City Treasurer.

Published the "Dollars and Sense" financial column for constituents and served as a dedicated baseball coach, with his 1969 team winning a championship.

Was a generous supporter of Seguin Services, an organization providing services for persons with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.
