Clifford Hamilton passed away on December 3, 2018, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Hamilton was born in 1940 in Matthews, Missouri, and relocated to Chicago and later Joliet, where he married Zola Bennett.

Hamilton retired after 30 years of service with Commonwealth Edison and 10 years of service with the City of Joliet, and was a long-time member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Hamilton is survived by his wife Zola, seven children, 28 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

The Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Hamilton's family as an expression of sympathy.
