Honors James J. "Jim" Albritton of Joliet, who passed away on September 14, 2018

Recognizes his 25-year career in law enforcement with the City of Joliet, serving as patrol officer (1983-1994), Lieutenant Administrator (1994-1998), and Captain (1998-2008)

Acknowledges his extensive community involvement including membership in the Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and founding of "Shop with a Cop" to help area children

Notes his service on the Will County Center for Independent Living board, Salvation Army board (former president), Joliet Park District Board as Commissioner, and other civic organizations

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to his family as an expression of sympathy; survived by two children, four grandchildren, and siblings
