Illinois Senate expresses mourning for the death of Andrew "Andy" Grom of Libertyville, who passed away on October 25, 2018.

Andy Grom was born December 30, 1959, in Waukegan to Philip and Rose Grom; graduated from Waukegan West High School in 1978 and the University of Kansas; and lived 29 years in Winthrop Harbor.

Andy Grom worked as a former employee of Abbott Laboratories and spent many years consulting in the pharmaceutical industry.

He is survived by his wife Wendy of 32 years, son Brandon, multiple siblings, and extended family.

A suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to Andy Grom's family as an expression of the Senate's deepest sympathy.
