Amends the Illinois School Code by adding sections 10-20.69 and 34-18.61 regarding academic support services for at-risk students.

Defines "at-risk student" as a student at risk of dropping out due to individual academic needs who requires temporary or ongoing academic support services.

Requires school districts to provide parents or guardians of at-risk students with information about available community-based or in-school academic support services beginning in the 2020-2021 school year.

Lists eligible academic support services including individual or small-group tutoring, summer school programs, mentoring programs, and meetings with academic advisors.

Specifies that school districts are not responsible for costs or transportation associated with community-based academic support services provided to students.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
