Director of Revenue shall publish by July 1 annually a list of General Assembly members who received a notice of failure to file under the Illinois Income Tax Act more than 180 days prior and have not filed by publication date.

List shall be made publicly available for inspection at the Department of Revenue or through other means including the Internet.

Names shall be promptly removed from the list if a member achieves compliance with Illinois Income Tax Act reporting requirements or demonstrates their name was included in error.

Department shall prescribe reasonable rules for administration and implementation of this disclosure requirement.

Good faith disclosures by the Director or third parties sharing information from the list shall not constitute violations of taxpayer information confidentiality statutes.
