Amends the State Fire Marshal Act to modify the composition of the Illinois Fire Advisory Commission by adding two new appointed member positions.

Adds one representative from a registered U.S. Department of Labor apprenticeship program that primarily instructs in installation and repair of fire extinguishing systems.

Adds one licensed operating or stationary engineer with an associate degree in facilities engineering technology and knowledge of fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems operation and maintenance.

Maintains existing commission membership including 3 professional firefighters, 1 volunteer firefighter, 1 Fire Protection Engineer, 1 fire insurance industry representative, 3 fire prevention experts, and multiple ex officio members from state fire organizations.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
