Removes requirement that Department of Corrections notify Attorney General about inmate compensation that should be applied toward incarceration costs.

Eliminates provisions allowing the state to recover incarceration expenses from inmate assets and work program compensation.

Repeals Section 3-7-6 of the Unified Code of Corrections entirely, which previously governed asset discovery and cost recovery from incarcerated persons.

Removes language requiring inmates to offset their incarceration costs through work program wages and art/literature sales proceeds.

Deletes cause of action (item 11) in Code of Civil Procedure allowing creditors to attach property of debtors referred by Department of Corrections for incarceration cost recovery.
