Director of Agriculture must prepare a report by December 31, 2020, to be delivered to the Agriculture Committee chairs of both the Senate and House of Representatives.

Report must address departmental accomplishments and future goals in livestock operations start-up, modernization, and expansion including beginning and transitioning operations.

Report must cover developing new markets for Illinois farmers to supply fruits, vegetables, meat, grain, and dairy to school children in the state.

Report must include goals related to assisting agricultural businesses to start, expand, access new markets, and diversify products, as well as developing urban agriculture and sustainable farming practices.

Report must address development or expansion of food hubs and alternative community-based food distribution systems, with this reporting requirement repealing on January 1, 2021.
