Increases the maximum burial benefit reimbursement for State police officers killed in the line of duty from $10,000 to $20,000.

Updates the effective date for the burial benefit to apply to officers killed after June 30, 2018 (previously June 30, 1997).

Increases the maximum burial benefit for law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty from $10,000 to $20,000 under the Line of Duty Compensation Act.

Specifies that burial benefit payments for State police officers shall be paid from moneys appropriated to the Department of State Police for personal services.

Requires the Department of State Police to adopt rules governing the administration of the burial benefit program.
