HB2036 - Hunting & Fishing License Fees

• Waives all sport fishing license fees for resident veterans of the United States Armed Forces who have been honorably discharged, requiring verification of service and honorable discharge status at Department regional offices.

• Waives all hunting license fees to hunt all species for resident veterans of the United States Armed Forces who have been honorably discharged, requiring the same verification procedures as fishing licenses.

• Changes reduced fishing and hunting fees for veterans from one-half of the standard fee to complete fee waiver, and requires honorable discharge documentation in addition to service verification.

• Establishes $1 fishing and hunting license fees for residents over 75 years of age.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
