IL HB2067

Amends Illinois Vehicle Code Section 12-215 to permit not-for-profit emergency management organizations to operate vehicles with red or white oscillating, rotating, or flashing lights.

Adds not-for-profit emergency management organizations to the list of entities allowed to use emergency warning lights, alongside local or county emergency management services agencies already authorized under the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act.

Applies the same operational restrictions to not-for-profit organization vehicles as other emergency vehicles, requiring lights to be activated only during emergency response or when stationary at an emergency scene.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
