IL HB2105

Requires each school board to adopt a mass incident policy and procedure guide outlining procedures to follow if a mass incident occurs within a school.

Defines "mass incident" as a traumatic event involving 10 or more children as victims or witnesses, including school shootings or sexual assault.

Mandates the policy guide include a plan for treating children's trauma following a mass incident.

Applies to both regular school districts (Section 10-20.69) and charter schools (Section 34-18.61).

Becomes effective immediately upon passage.
