• State agencies prohibited from disclosing personal information of Illinois drivers to other states or interstate motor vehicle information networks for purposes of imposing or collecting fines from automated traffic enforcement systems violations occurring in other states.

• Defines "interstate motor vehicle information network" as an interstate network used for exchange of law enforcement, criminal justice, and public safety-related information.

• Prohibition applies to both automated traffic law enforcement systems (red light cameras) under Section 11-208.6 and automated speed enforcement systems in school/park safety zones under Section 11-208.8.

• Effective immediately upon becoming law.
