• Defines "cell-cultured food product" as food products derived from animal or poultry cells grown in laboratories from cell cultures in the Meat and Poultry Inspection Act.

• Designates products that purport to be or are represented as meat, meat food products, poultry, or poultry products but are actually cell-cultured food products as misbranded under the Meat and Poultry Inspection Act.

• Amends the Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act to classify cell-cultured food products that falsely claim to be traditional meat or poultry products as misbranded food.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
