• Amends the Workers' Compensation Act to require deduction of prior compensation from awards for subsequent injuries to the same part of the spine.

• Defines "same part of the spine" as either: (1) cervical and thoracic spine (vertebra C1-T12) or (2) lumbar, sacral spine and coccyx (vertebra L1-S5).

• Applies to employees who previously received compensation for spine injuries and later sustain additional compensable injuries to the same spinal region.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
