IL HB2695

Amends the Environmental Protection Act by modifying Section 12.5 regarding NPDES discharge fees and sludge permit fees.

Exempts cities with a population of 10,000 or less from paying the annual discharge fee imposed under paragraph (1) of subsection (e), which applies to publicly owned treatment works and facilities treating primarily domestic sewage.

The exemption applies to the specified discharge fee categories based on Design Average Flow rates, ranging from facilities under 100,000 gallons per day to those processing 10,000,000 gallons per day or more.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
