IL HB2826

Amends the Toll Highway Act by deleting language requiring the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority to construct and maintain at least one electric vehicle charging station at locations with motor fuel service stations, garages, stores, or restaurants.

Removes the requirement that the Authority charge fees for the use of electric vehicle charging stations to offset construction and maintenance costs.

Eliminates the requirement for the Authority to adopt rules implementing the creation, user fees, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging stations.
