IL HB3086

Renumbers Section 27-23.11 to Section 27-23.12 of the School Code regarding the Emotional Intelligence and Social and Emotional Learning Task Force.

Expands the Task Force's scope to include strategies and instruction to address the needs of students with anger management issues.

Requires the Task Force to make recommendations on funding of appropriate services and sources of funding, including federal funding, to address social and emotional learning.

Extends the Task Force completion deadline from January 1, 2019 to March 1, 2020 for developing curriculum, assessment guidelines, and best practices.

Task Force is dissolved upon completion of the guidelines and recommendations.
