IL HB3091

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code Section 5-8 to expand the list of practitioners eligible to provide services under the state's medical assistance program.

Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to provide coverage for legally authorized services of clinical professional counselors licensed under the Professional Counselor and Clinical Professional Counselor Licensing and Practice Act.

Adds clinical professional counselors to the existing list of covered practitioners, which includes physicians, nurses, dentists, social workers, and physician assistants.
