Amends the Township Code Section 60-5 to establish procedures for filling vacancies in township offices, with the township board filling vacancies by appointment to serve the remainder of the unexpired term.

Requires a special township meeting to be called within 60 days if a vacancy on the township board is not filled through appointment.

Creates a new deputy supervisor position when the township supervisor office becomes vacant, with a trustee appointed to perform ministerial functions until the vacancy is permanently filled.

Permits the township board to appoint a temporary deputy to perform ministerial functions for temporarily vacant offices, with restrictions on voting rights unless the deputy is an existing trustee.

Requires that persons appointed to fill vacancies (except temporary deputies) must be members of the same political party as the person who vacated the office, with party affiliation established through voting history or party organizational involvement.
