Appropriates $50,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Program.

Funds will establish 50 after-school programs in 50 disadvantaged communities where household income exceeds 95% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Poverty guidelines used will be those updated periodically in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under 42 U.S.C. 9902(2).

Takes effect July 1, 2019.
