Establishes the Asian American Family Commission to advise the Governor and General Assembly on policies, services, and programs affecting Asian American families in Illinois

Commission comprised of 15 members appointed by the Governor, President and Minority Leader of the Senate, and Speaker and Minority Leader of the House (3 members each), with staggered 3-year terms and reimbursement for expenses

Commission shall monitor legislation, assist state agencies in developing programs, facilitate Asian American participation in policy development, and promote research on policy impacts for Asian American families

Commission coordinates with 14 state agencies including Departments on Aging, Children and Family Services, Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Corrections, Human Services, Healthcare and Family Services, Public Health, and Transportation, among others

Commission receives funding through appropriations to participating state agencies and must submit annual progress reports to the Governor and General Assembly
