IL HB3320

Amends Section 511.101 of the Illinois Insurance Code to add "dental service plan" to the definition of entities exempt from administrator regulation requirements.

Exempts dental service plans from administrator licensing and regulatory oversight to the same extent that insurers are regulated under the Illinois Insurance Code.

Changes references in the statute from "the Illinois Insurance Code" to "this Code" for grammatical consistency.

Section is scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027.
