Amends the Illinois School Code Section 9-1.1 to require all school district bond referenda to be submitted to voters at the next general election in accordance with general election law.

Applies to all referenda containing public questions pertaining to the issuance of bonds beginning on the effective date of this amendatory act.

Does not apply retroactively to public questions submitted prior to the effective date of the amendments.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
