Amends the Sanitary District Act of 1936 to add provisions allowing the Village of Lindenhurst to terminate the Lindenhurst Sanitary District through an ordinance adopted by the village board of trustees.

Allows the Village of Lindenhurst to transfer all powers, assets, and responsibilities of the Lindenhurst Sanitary District to the village board of trustees, including tax levying and collection authority.

Permits dissolution of the Lindenhurst Sanitary District only after the district has no outstanding debts or the Village has sufficient funds available to satisfy any remaining debts.

Requires the Village of Lindenhurst to adopt an ordinance stating reasons for dissolution, debt status, that no federal or state permits or grants will be impaired, and that the Village assumes all district assets and responsibilities.

Requires the Village of Lindenhurst to notify the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency within 60 days after the ordinance becomes effective regarding the district's dissolution.
