Increases the penalty for fraudulently obtaining unemployment benefits from 15% to 125% of the fraudulently obtained amount under the Unemployment Insurance Act (820 ILCS 405/901.1).

Requires all penalties collected under this section to be paid into the State's account in the Unemployment Trust Fund instead of being treated as benefits recovered from the individual.

Applies all provisions of Section 900 relating to recovery of benefits to the penalties imposed under this amended section.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
