IL HB3672

Requires the Chicago Transit Board, local Mass Transit Districts, Suburban Bus Board, and Commuter Rail Board to provide 30 days of free fixed-route public transportation to individuals with emergency or plenary orders of protection within 180 days of the law's effective date.

Defines "order of protection" as emergency orders under Section 217 or plenary orders under Section 219 of the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986.

Directs each transit board and district to establish eligibility conditions and requirements for individuals to provide information to verify their order of protection status.

Applies to fixed-route transportation services provided directly or through grant or purchase of service contracts by the specified transit agencies in the Metropolitan Region or their respective districts.
