IL HB3675

Amends the Environmental Protection Act Section 22.01 to require nonhazardous special waste manifests to consist of forms prescribed by the Environmental Protection Agency rather than the Pollution Control Board.

Allows manifest forms to include information identical to those required for hazardous waste shipments, but removes the requirement that they be identical to hazardous waste manifests.

Maintains existing provisions that generators and facilities handling nonhazardous special waste containing polychlorinated biphenyls must submit manifest copies to the Agency and retain them for 3 years.

Preserves exemption from filing reports for in-state nonhazardous special waste shipments while allowing the Board to require annual reports for out-of-state shipments.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
