Amends the Illinois Municipal Code Section 1-2.1-4 regarding administrative hearing officers in municipal code enforcement proceedings.

Exempts former Circuit Judges in Illinois from completing the standard formal training requirements (instruction on procedures, code orientation, observation of hearings, and hypothetical case participation) before serving as administrative hearing officers.

Maintains the requirement that all administrative hearing officers must be licensed Illinois attorneys with at least 3 years of practice experience, with the Circuit Judge exemption being the sole exception to training requirements.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
