IL HB4544

Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act to exclude certain foreign members from unitary business groups for taxable years ending on or after December 31, 2020.

Excludes from unitary business group membership any non-individual members that were not created or organized in the United States or under U.S. or state laws.

Maintains existing exclusion of members whose business activity outside the United States is 80% or more of their total business activity.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
