Amends the Counties Code to add Section 5-12001.5 granting Lake County authority to regulate animal husbandry on any size parcel of land when it constitutes the principal activity.

Lake County may eliminate uses, buildings, or structures related to animal husbandry and require permits for land used for animal husbandry purposes.

Lake County may regulate the erection, maintenance, repair, alteration, remodeling, or extension of buildings or structures used for animal husbandry purposes.

Lake County may require animal husbandry buildings or structures to conform to building or setback lines and establish minimum lot sizes for residences on land used for animal husbandry.

Excludes equine activity from the definition of "animal husbandry" and takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
