Reduces the earnings threshold for Chicago police officers receiving disability benefits from 150% to 125% of their regular salary, meaning combined disability benefits and outside employment compensation cannot exceed 125% of their civil service salary.

Requires police officers granted disability benefits to submit copies of federal and state tax returns with all schedules within 30 days of filing, with loss of benefits for refusal to comply.

Makes the 125% earnings reduction apply to all persons receiving disability benefits on or after the effective date of this amendment.

Establishes that police officers have an affirmative duty to inform the pension fund if they receive a medical opinion that they are no longer disabled, and requires their return to active service when disability ceases.
