Amends the Children and Family Services Act by adding Section 5.06 to address education continuity for youth in residential treatment facilities.

Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to update its records on the date a youth is initially admitted to a residential treatment facility, listing the facility's address as the youth's official address.

Ensures youth in care are eligible to receive education services from the school district where the residential treatment facility is located, including remote educational programs defined in the School Code.

Applies when a youth is held in a residential treatment facility beyond medical necessity to prevent interruption of their education.
