Written notice of alleged toll highway violations must be provided by the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority within 7 days of the alleged violation.

Fines for toll evasion violations shall not be imposed until 14 days after the alleged violation and shall not exceed $10 per violation.

An additional $25 fine per violation is imposed if the initial fine is not paid within 30 days of receiving the written notice.

The Authority may establish a civil administrative adjudication system to hear toll evasion cases, with judicial review available through circuit court under the Administrative Review Law.

The bill takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
