State Board of Education must develop and implement a School Share Table Program with guidelines for kindergarten through grade 12 schools.

Guidelines for share table use must be published on the State Board website by January 1, 2021, and integrated into school-based child nutrition programs.

Share tables are defined as stations where students can return unopened whole food or beverage items for redistribution to other students or local food donation centers.

Use of share tables must comply with all applicable local and State health and food safety requirements.

State Board may adopt rules necessary to implement and administer the program; the act takes effect immediately upon passage.
