Amends the School Code to require instruction on women's contributions to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) beginning with the 2020-2021 school year.

Expands existing requirements for teaching women's history in public elementary and high schools to specifically include significant advancements, discoveries, and contributions made by women in STEM fields.

Authorizes the State Superintendent of Education to prepare and distribute instructional materials to school boards as guidelines for developing curriculum units under this requirement.

Allows individual school boards to determine the minimum amount of instructional time needed to satisfy the STEM instruction requirement.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
